Location

Sunrise Resort is located in the northwest corner of Vilas County in the township of Presque Isle.

Presque Isle is known as "Wisconsin's Last Wilderness" and was named by French visitors to the area more than 300 years ago.

Presque Isle means "Almost an Island" and was so named because of the huge number of lakes and rivers compared to the land mass.

Directions:

Turn right off from Highway 51 on County Trunk W through Manitowish Waters and Winchester to intersection County Trunk P.

Turn right on to County Trunk P. Sunrise Resort is approximately 1 ½ miles away. Highway 51 turn off to Country Trunk P is approximately 12 miles.
